OnePlus Launches Doorstep Repair Service in 6 Cities in India
OnePlus today announced the launch of first of its kind doorstep repair service across Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune. the corporate said that it’s the primary smartphone brand globally to supply on-site doorstep repair service directly.
As an extension to the present initiative, OnePlus already provides free product pick-up and drop-off service for OnePlus users seeking to resolve any issues with their product. This service is out there in over 8000 pin codes, covering 80% of India.
The company said that it’s been running a pilot for the service within the past six months before the launch. Moving forward, OnePlus aims to expand this initiative across all tier-1 cities and a number of other tier-2 cities also.
Customers can apply for this service using the OnePlus Care App, where they will choose a convenient slot for the engineer to go to.
How to Book a Repair?
- In the OnePlus Care App, Book a Repair
- Select your OnePlus device
- Provide your area PIN/ZIP Code or select Auto-detect current location
- Select “Get an engineer to go to your location”
- Provide your address details and choose “Save this” to submit the request
- OnePlus said that the service is out there within the town limits supported postal codes.
OnePlus launched two new ESCs (Exclusive repair centers) in Kolkata and Indore in January and is getting to open 3 new ESCs in Aurangabad, Baroda, and Lucknow within the primary half this year.
Within two years of building its first exclusive service center, OnePlus expanded to over 70 service centers, including exclusive and partnered outlets, across 40+ cities and towns. It further aims to expand its customer service network to the top 100 cities, including tier-2 cities and beyond, by the top of the year 2020.
